My apologies…Claudia’s birthday is FRIDAY, AUGUST 2nd. I knew that!
Believe it or not, two co-workers at my office are also celebrating on Aug 1st and on Aug 2nd. So many LEOS, I got a bit confused lol.

A nice surprise…Jamie is in town from New York and will be on bass this Sunday.
Hi everyone! My name is Claudia and I’ll be 23 on August 2nd. It was nice meeting and praying with you all the other day. Peggy asked me to tell you all a little about myself.
Since I was little I’ve been pretty sick and spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital. Then in 2010, I caught a virus that left me in a wheelchair and I had to re-learn to do many things… eat, drink, write and eventually walk. I wasn’t at school much, causing me to have anxiety especially in new situations. So one of my older sisters come places with me sometimes, like Melissa the other day (AKA my agent as Peggy calls her! haha)
For just over a year now I’ve taught myself to play piano as therapy. Faith, family and music are the three things that always got me through! Music is such a special way to share the peace, love and grace of Christ. A couple weeks ago I noticed your band was looking for a piano player and I felt I was meant to email Peggy. As unqualified as I feel to take on such a position I feel this is where God is asking me to be at this time in my life. I guess He truly doesn’t call the qualified, but qualifies the called. And what better place to expand my love for music then in the house of God. What you all do is beautiful! I hope in some small way I can add something to it and not mess up what you have all created together.
I may be a bit shy to start (I’m better at writing then speaking!) but I promise if you are willing to stick through the awkward shyness as I adjust to a new environment and faces, it’ll get better. I’ve never played with a band, singers or in front of people, so I’m a bit nervous but extremely grateful for your patience and willingness to have me. Many blessings!
There will be NO practice this week.
Several line-ups posted, please check carefully for the current week’s music.
See you all on Sunday, sad day, our last mass with Fr. Scott. Just remember, the rest of the family is still here and not going anywhere. 🙂
Thursday, June 6th Arrive 6:30PM for Mass time 7PM (Short practice thereafter)
