More good news!! CONGRATULATIONS to Kristen who completed her courses and GRADUATED in July!
SO PROUD OF YOU and we love you, Kristen!
What are you doing this Thursday? We will be at the church, in the parking lot, at 7:00PM. Bring a chair, bring a non-alcoholic bevvy, and LET’S VISIT.
As you know we are only ALLOWED 4 reserved choir seats. We pushed it today 🙂 and it almost felt like “normal”.
Meanwhile, we will rotate people but remember everyone’s welcome to jam on Thursdays.
Although only 4 of us are allowed to sing at mass at this time
starting this week we will be
PRACTICING ON THURSDAY EVENINGS in the loft at 7:30PM
even if you just want to come visit or jam keeping SOCIALLY DISTANCED, of course.
Finally some good news to share….CONGRATULATIONS CLARE-ANNE on passing your exam…you are now officially a REGISTERED NURSE!!
Most awesome news! Many, many blessings to you. Our medical personnel are made better for having people like you as part of their community.
THANK YOU TO ALL HEALTHCARE WORKERS.
From Father Maciej via the Parish E-news Saturday, May 16th;
...Time for the new set of information from St. Clare of Assisi Parish. We are very happy to announce that next weekend May 23/24 we will reopen our church!
On Saturday, May 23rd we will resume our regular scheduled Masses starting with 5 pm service. Attendance will be limited to 50 people and there will be an online registration system for every weekday and weekend Mass. No walk-ins allowed. The new guidelines from the Bishop Office rcav.org/coronavirus/ have to be adapted to our community.
We hope that by May 20th or 21st we will be ready with St. Clare Parish strict guidelines in order to assure the safety of our parishioners and staff. We will send a new email in the middle of next week as well as post it on our website about the new ways of attending church, including access to registration for the Masses.”
We are waiting for details from Father but, it seems the notice indicates going back to regular masses next week and we should be back to Sunday 11AM mass…but different.
Stay tuned…

…that will be a great celebration when we can be together and pray
and sing, and worship as a community.
Communicating with Father Maciej this morning, he informs us that because the maximum allowable of 50 persons includes everyone, himself, server, etc., he is leaning towards having no music at the masses.
He will give his final decision on Friday.
